I need a Dana 35

I've got a '94 and the rear diff went out. I took it to a new shop upon recommendation, they charged me a thousand dollars and put a bad replacement in it. It still squeels like a pig and now there is a loud Cachunking noise coming from the rear end when I turn and cross uneven ground. I Immediately took it back in. This was mid May. The clowns still can't find a replacement. It's been well over a month without my jeep. Is a Dana 35 that hard to come by? I'm at the end of my fuse here.

A grand???? FOR WHAT???? I have a 1987 yj with a howling rear. One shop that specializes in jeeps told me he'll do a total rebuild(bearings, seals, ring and pinion) for 450.00. another told me just rebuilding the center section will be 300.00. And thats me pulling the rear and just dropping off the rear, not leaving the whole jeep.

I moved out to northern Virginia from Colorado. It would be awesome if someone new of a place local that they can trust. I don't know where you're at but I am looking for that place. Nothing worse than turning you're jeep over to someone who dosn't know what the hell their doing. Thanks Jake.

XJ axles won't bolt in. YJ's are spring under and XJ's are spring over. Plus the spring perches are about an inch and a half off from XJ to YJ.
