I'd appreciate some pricing advice

Hey guys, I'm a TJ guy, so I don't know a lot about YJ pricing. A friend asked me to help guide her on how to price a 95 YJ 2.5 liter with only 34K miles on it. If you could help me out I'd appreciate it. I know the mileage is crazy low, but around here I have no idea what YJ sell for. Thanks!

Idk about there but here in Florida that's way to much for a 4 banger

That is some crazy low miles but there is no way that thing is worth that much, that's a 3 or 4000 dollar jeep at most. The top doesn't even fit right. Rims are hideous. On the plus side it appears to have minimal rust and wired for an rv. Will she throw in the fan for that price, God knows when I am driving my wrangler I constantly have to tell my wife that I wish we had a fan in it.

I was also thinking that $7500 was a bit high for a 4 banger, but also figured that the miles are so low that it is a rare find. I imagine that a few of those miles are towed miles, so that 2.5 may not even be broken in. She inherited the vehicle so may not be able to give a good estimate on towed vs driven mileage.

I'm sure the fan can be included, just be sure to mention the discount code "freefan" when ordering lol.

Frame rust is the deal maker/breaker on TJs. Do the YJs have similar issues?

Well, one concern I would have is that voltage is indicating downscale, while it shows fuel level and the oil pressure shown is consistent with engine at idle. In one picture the ignition switch appears to be in the run position.

But, it is listed for $5K, and here in Central Texas it would get several calls at that price, and most likely sell for between $4,500 and $4,750. A new canvas top for it can be had (with uppers) for $250 from Smittybilt. The soft top frame looks to be serviceable. The slider half doors are a bonus. Check the body underside and frame for rust issues. While it looks to be only surface rust, you can never tell. I would also ask what the hand throttle was used for. Surely it doesn't have a PTO - I'm pretty sure there is no PTO access covers on the AX-5. Take a close look at the radiator too. It may just be the angle, but it sure looks like verdigris (copper corrosion) forming below the upper tank.

Overall, the paint, tires, interior (seats, carpet, dash, etc.) look to be in great shape for a vehicle of that age. You can see the VIN, a CarFax report might be well worth the cost.

And, unlike others here, I find the stock steelies kinda' charming myself.

In NM that would have sold today for the current asking price($5000). I'd try eBay since it has such low miles.

Dropping from 7500 to 5000 I think was a good decision, shouldn't have a hard time selling now I bet. GL
