If you got a good deal on a.....

....Renegade, but hated the Renegade look, would you de-Renegade it and turn it into a normal Jeep?

92 Jeep Wrangler Renegade

I hate the look of the Renegades, but want a 4.0L AX-15....
and that is close, and affordable....

I don't care for the Renegade look either, but if the Jeep is in good shape, it might be worth it to take the plastic trim off it. It also had some upgrades like a 20 gal fuel tank and intermittent windshield wipers that would be nice to have.

I love YJ's, but I just can't dig the YJ Renegades. Just a personal preference. They're nice Jeeps.

The only thing I would keep is the integrated fogs in the front fenders. The rest would go by-by.

That's a bit on the high side for something so old. Mileage isn't super high but I'm sure it'll need some work. Picked up mine with same mileage for $2K. I'd find something cheaper and put the extra $ into getting it set up how you want. But to each their own. Good luck.

Nope. Rust free. It rarely rains and dryer than hell.
