Improving performance of 4cyl

I have a 92 yj 5 speed and the 4cyl it has 31.5 x 10 tires.
What can I do to get more performance from the 4cyl?
upgrade / aftermarket ignition system? Exhaust system? any ideas?
I do like the 4cyl don't want to swap engines.

Keep it clean

Do your oil changes regularly

Keep good plugs,wires,cap & rotor

Run Lucas with your oil on the next change

Don't ever let it overheat, and don't over-rev it. (top 2 causes of engine failure)

Don't waist money on splitfires and K&Ns and all that... you won't gain enough to make a noticeable difference.

Enjoy for many years to come!!!

Im considering doing a snorkel because you will get about 5 hp to the wheels, better gas mileage, its a cool looking mod and gets cleaner air!
