Is my YJ lifted?

Hey folks
This may sound like a strange question, but how can I tell if my '91 Jeep YJ is lifted and by how much? I've had it a few months and just don't know.

I don't see any spacers under the leafs, no extra long shackles, or any dropped pitman arm. Measuring the front axel saddle, the axel tube sits 1" above the leaf.

Any thoughts?

How would I measure and where? The current tires are 235-75-15 and the Jeep sits 22" high at the bottom of the running boards.

I had the same question about my jeep years ago and asked the kind folks here.
The general consensus was I just had short legs.

When I was a youngster my mom would put my pants on 'pants stretchers' rather than ironing them.
I tried to use them as leg stretchers so that I could get taller to play basketball.
They didn't work as leg stretchers. Nor did they work anywhere else.

Good Luck, L.M.

I might have answered my own question. I guess 215-75-15 was stock and it looks like the height was 18" at the rocker. There is 1.2" diff between 215 and 235s so I assume 22" -1.2" puts it about 3" higher than stock.

Maybe it has a 3" lift?

Tagged as I am in the same boat. I am currently in the process of deciding between 31s and 33s.
I would happily go 31s but am afraid it will show too much wheel-well. I hate that look. Big lift, small tires.
It currently rides on 265x65 18s and iirc theyre right in between 31s and 33s.

I replaced my leaf spring and shackles back during the winter, I took measurements before and after as I was adding 1.5" of lift. Mine was bone stock when I took the measurements and I compared them against what I could find on line. These are the stock measurements with stock tires that measure 28" tall. All measurements from ground up.

to the top of the front bumper 22 1/16" but I had 3/4" sag so stock should be 22 11/16"

Ground to skid plate 9.5", the sag at the front did not show up here so this is a good number

Bottom of the back fender was 21.5" there was no sag here either
