Smile Jeep parts made of gold!

After driving around in my newly purchased Jeep, I decide it's time to put the stabilizer bar & links back on that the last guy removed. I grab the bar and the links, but no nuts or bolts. <gasp!> So, how much could a few parts cost, right? After a visit to the local Jeep dealer I am still drinking! (sticker shock)

They quoted me over $90 dollars for the 2 pins, 2 washers, and 2 nuts. Holy cow!!! Needless to say, I couldn't bring myself to take out my credit card.

I plan on hitting the junkyard, scrapyard, used parts dealer, not sure what they are calling themselves these days.

Anyone else have a Jeep part they purchased made of "gold"?

I went to the salvage yard today, found everything I needed, only charged me $5 bucks. Put it all together, works like a charm!

Heck of a deal, I know I will go there again!

I'm glad ya didn't spend the 90 on em, most people rip em off when they lift the jeep and never put em back on.
