Jurassic World YJ diecast available

With the release of the new Jurassic World movie, it was inevitable that merchandise would follow. Jada Toys has released a diecast version of the YJ Wrangler. I saw on at my local Target, but I'm sure you'll find one at any major retailer. It was in the action figure aisle and not the toy car aisle.

Yea of course they'll merchandise with this movie, they did with other three, plus the movie companies love merchandising.

Actually come to think of it I saw a Jurassic world T shirt at Khios the other day. I'd rather have my oldskool Jurassic park t shirt though, goes better with a yj, even if you don't have the paint job.

Not to be a nerd but wasn't jeep #12 the one Dennis Nedry drove? So it should have the soft top on it, plus the light bar with lights.

Just sayin.

My wife got this for me one day when she was at Target. I have it on my bookshelf and I think it is very neat.

1/43rd Scale?

Hi,

Nice toy--thanks to the OP for posting.

But I'm confused: The Amazon link says it's a "1/43" scale, yet the one in AMP'd's pic looks HUGE, compared to that.

Amazon's description says theirs as "L-4.5 inches long."

Wikipedia gives an idea of the size of a 1/43rd scale model as follows:

"As a representative example, a Volkswagen Beetle in 1:43 scale measures about 3.5 inches (90 millimeter) in length. Larger cars might measure 4 to 4.5 inches (100 to 115 millimeter) if reproduced to 1:43 scale."

Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1:43_scale

I'm confused.

Just set a coke can or something next to the package to see how big it actually is.

Yep nedrys was 12. So the model is wrong. The jeeps that appear in Jurassic world are 29 and 18. The same two that carryed everyone in the start of jurassic park. Allthough the jeeps themselves in JW are not the exact jeeps from the first and looking as small things i dont even think they were originally saharas. I literally joined up here so in a few months i can ask around if anyone knows where a 1992 sahara is because i am the king nerd

I'm looking for a Yellow Rubicon Unlimited Hard Rock model for my office. Any idea where I can find one? I've checked Amazon, Ebay, etc.
