lift advice?

i have a 1992 jeep wrangler straight 6 with 17 inch rubicon rims on 32 inch wrangler mud terrains. the tires rub against the mud flares when i go over bumps or when there is a lot of people in the car. so i figured it is time for a lift. what is an economical lift that will perform well offroad and will lift my jeep without worrying about any major drivshaft or transmision angles?

A high quality lift would be a 2.5 Old Man Emu. Good shocks and springs and a nice ride. If you dont want to spend the money maybe a 2.5 Black Diamond or Rough Country.

i agree with everything olred said, 4" inch is max on yj without modifying much, and it is borderline. 2.5" sounds like exactly what you need right now, it will be perfect for that tire size also

i put a 3.5" Black Diamond in my 92' and the bang to buck ratio looks pretty good from my porch. Happy Trails.
