Going to fix it, i have no choice. I have way to much time and money invested into this machine to let something as menial as a little frame rot stop me.

Ibuildembig: I have watched your build from day 1. Awesome machine! I wish i was as talented as you are and had half the tools and workspace that you have. Great build. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I wish i was there! To see that golden eagle come to life, hear the roar of those awesome looking headers and pipes that you built....and to see first hand that amazing paintjob, and all the intricate details...now that would be PRICELESS.

Form the outside of the frame, you couldn't tell a thing. In the top pic, you can see the arc in the steel where the frame bushing was welded in. It must of been paper thin, cause it just passed state inspection with flying colors. They never seen it either.

The last time out playing musta did it in, and broke the frame bushing out of its spot. Wasn't sagging or sitting funny. The bottom pic is the Pass side. and i did most of that damage shown with the peen end of a hammer. Just falling apart.

sad part of it is I have owned this jeep for 2 yrs now, and it hasnt run in the winter or seen any salt-time on the Pennsylvania roads for atleast 7-10 years that i know of.

Well, going out today to start the major repair, or should i say tear down, of the rear frame section. I will take some pics as the work happens, and keep you posted.

Just so the everyday normal mechanic will know that this is a possible fix in your driveway( mainly cause Jeep is too tall to fit in the garage...7ft door).
