Looking For A Low Profile Hood Protector For My 94 YJ.

Does anyone know of a low profile hood protector. I don't like Vent Shade's or Rugged Ridge's.

Please don't try to adapt an "Angry Eyes" forehead from a JK.

If your paint is in good shape, you might consider 'clear bra' material. You can't get any lower profile than that.

Good Luck, L.M.

Lol. No, the angry eyes grill is not an option. Last night I found the Rampage 445991 Aeroskin Hood Protector. I think this is what I want.

How about some 200 mph racer tape.

I just took the bug guard off mine the other day. It certainly wasn't "low profile". I absolutely hated it. The front of my YJ looks like it was supposed to, which is beautiful to me.

FWIW, I would go with something clear if anything at all.

@banjotx . A few years ago I use to intstall the clear bras. The problem with the racing tape, like the clear bra, if one spec of dirt gets under there it's the Beginning of the end.
@Camper_Bob . I agree a lot of the bug shields and bug deflectors is that I takes away from the look and lines of the Jeep. I installed a bug shield on my Trailblazer SS and hated it. I pulled it off after a couple of weeks. I put a clear bra on it and that barely lasted a summer. I did finally find a low profile hood protector. I've been happy with that. I've found a bunch for JK. Pickings are slime for the YJ.
