Lugging sound but not

Problem: My '95 Wrangler is making lugging sounds between 45-60mph. It sounds like gears are grinding but I know for a fact they're not nor is it lugging b/c the rpms are where they should be.

Question: Any clue what's wrong? Thanks in advance.

Do you have a lift on ur jeep? If you do it could be your driveshaft vibrating.

Is it an auto or a manual. If it is an automatic, you have a switch on the dash to turn off your overdrive. What is happening is that your jeep is shifting into overdrive around 45 and if you let up on the accelerator or go into a climb, it will not shift back down causing the sound you are describing. I just switch off the overdrive when driving in city or on the trail and I no longer have that problem.

you may be right. The problem may have already been solved.
