Made a new shift knob today

What good is having multiple lathes, a laser engraver and left over resin from another project if you can't make something for the Jeep.

I didn't like the way the blue inset turned out in the first 2 pictures. The orange one turned out much better once I got the settings right.

Very nice work, I like the way it turned out.

No pun intended there right

I'm actually enjoying the feel of this one. The billet handle that was on there previously was alright, but this one is more substantial and just feels better when shifting.

I'm guessing that you can "insert" just about anything you want into that (given size restrictions)? Or is the shift pattern part of the lazer process?
Very cool.
Do I see the beginnings of a business venture?

I can design it to fit just about anything depending on the size of the recess. I can laser just about any design or put another material in there all together (wood for example). But something has to cover the end as there is a hole there from work holding on the lathe.

that's really neat

it would look great in my orange YJ

I picked this up for it, so was thinking about putting a little bit of blue on it here and there
