Smile Making a DIY Storage Drawer

So this is a video a friend and I put together showing the process of building a () x () x () storage box for my YJ. We built it because I was tired of not being able to really utilize this storage space in the back. We’re both new to all of this so there were definitely some struggles building it, but after like a month it came together pretty nicely. Let me know what you know what you guys think and anything we could have done differently or better.

I like what you did. I did one similar to that for the back of an Expedition to hold and secure survey equipment, plus a work top for computers and printers. Worked great.
But back to the jeep, I did a box similar but without a drawer, just a lift top. It's bolted down to where the back seat would mount. The top folds up in two places so that I don't have to open it all the way, or I can if I want. I used the carpet that would have gone down on the floor to cover the box then added eye bolts to hook bungee straps for holding gear in.
As an added bonus I sloped the front, sectioned it off and added 6x9 speakers with enough room to add an amp if I ever wanted.
You guys did good. Love the ingenuity. I like the draw because once you lock the tailgate, you're storage is secure.

Entertaining video🤙I just recently pulled my rear seat out and thinking of something similar. Great job considering you had no saws and experience, looks great and functional.

Storage space in a jeep is in limited, I made a trunk in mine recently as well. I like the idea but kind of worry about how it will react to moisture but over all great job.
