Question Mirror replacements?

Hey guys,

I am getting new mirrors for my YJ, and I am going to have them relocated to the hinge for the windshield. This is what I am going to get:

https://www.quadratec.com/products/13025_1202.htm

Now I want to get mirrors to go on them, but all of the ones on Quadratec have horrible reviews. They say they are super cheap and move way to easy. One review just says to get the factory mirrors as replacements. Does anyone recommend this? Are they a lot better than the aftermarket ones on Quadratec? If I were to get ones that are made by Jeep, which year mirrors should I order?

Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate all your responses.

Ryan

I have tried them all and back to the originals I have gone..... All of the aftermarket seem to not hold up to the wind and force when driven.... You will find yourself always adjusting....

That’s looks like just a relocation bracket for the stock mirrors. Reviews aren’t to good. From what I’ve read the later model TJ mirrors are better than the YJ and early TJ mirrors. The housing is fixed and the glass moves inside of them so wind has little effect on their adjustment. Seems there’s several different manufactures that make them so I’m sure there can be a quality difference between cheap and more expensive ones. Like these

I have those and even though I had to get creative with mounting them (the stock bolts are too short and the ones that come with are too long) I like them.

I would have kept mine but they both blew off running down the highway.
