More YJ Storage

So I decided I needed a place in my jeep for tools and mounted an ammo box in my engine bay, what do you think?

Not bad lol I would never think about putting it in the engine bay, but it works haha I want to mount some on the sides of the Jeep and in the back

Wont that get extremely hot??
Lol don't put anything flammable in there, or think of using the tools after using the jeep for a while!!

I have onboard air, with the compressor in the same spot. Was able to score some best top saddle bags, and a rear rack for extra storage though.

i put my engine bay can where the jack used to be. i used the jack mount and modified it to hold the ammo can so the can laid on its side and opened outwards.

Tuffy makes some, too, but I think the ammo can solution is at least as good. I like it because even though the hood isn't locked, most people don't seem to think about being able to get under there in a YJ.

Nice. How did you do the upholstery on that? Is it vinyl or something with a foam backing already on it, that you staple around the back?

Did carpet for 28 years, just started doing boat covers and interiors. 2 months in new bizz and did jeep. It vinyl and had to glue foam on back. Headliner on hard top is next.
