Mud Tires

I want to get mud tires, what do you think would be the best ones? i want 35s if i do an SOA but i dont think my dana 35 and such can handle it, so i was thinking about 33 mud terrain for rock climbing

Well mine is a dd ive got 31 cooper stt i lovem use to have mickey thompson baja claws 33s but they suck in snow rain which sucked for dd but ill be buying coopers in a 33 soon

I just installed a 4inch rc lift but ive had longer shackles since i bought it

You will need to upgrade your rear axle before you can run 35's.. As when it comes to 35's on a TurD35 axle it's never a mater of if it blows up, it's when. 33's Open is the absolute max you should run on that axle stock.

yea i personally wouldnt want to deal with the big mods that come with 35s! i recently got 32 bfg mud terrains and love em w a 3 inch lift!! i heard they last longer thn some other mudders and havent heard or experienced a bad thing about em other thn them not being the best in snow, actually are bad in snow, but all muds are, and i live in breckenridge co, so thats an issue 7 months of the year!!!

i have a 91 yj with a soa lift and running 35's with 4.88s and 4 banger 5 speed and its my dd and trail rig and she does good IMO

31's is the max that rear axle should see. Keep in mind it's a very weak 27 spline axle that was designed for LIGHT offroad use with stock 215/70 sized tires, primarily road use. I broke mine with 235/75 tires, which are just a bit bigger than stock tires. And that was on the roads, going below the speed limit.
