My jeep story....so it begins

Bought a 95 four banger yesterday and was ready to begin my jeep adventure. Normal wear and tear overall good shape. Had not owned it more than 5 minutes when I go to hit the brakes and yep the line busted. I bought the yj for several reasons I love the look of it, budget and the ability to be able work on it myself. Ordered the replacement kit from quadratec and can't wait get to turning wrenches...so it begins

You'll know everything about your YJ before long. I also got mine because they're cheap and easy to wrench on.

looks good it will be a project that never gets finished! There is always some thing that you will want to do or it needs to be done.

YJs keep things simple.
It's basic math....TIME + MONEY = YJ

I just bought a '93 YJ. I have new front disc brakes on the floor of my room, new shocks and brake hoses arriving tomorrow, and rear drum brakes on my agenda for the next paycheck (17 year old high school student working near-minimum wage jobs). At least I don't have a family to support, just a college fund to contribute too.

Brakes are something I don't want to push to the limits. The previous Jeep owner replaced the rear main brake line but the rear hoses are worn down. Tires are next in line. No sense in buying ceramic performance brakes if you buy the Chinese wholesale special tires made for Hotwheels.

You have to have something that will stop the fun your having from turning into a tragedy.

Yes! Somebody else who is in the high school struggle!
And 31s with stock brakes can get a little squirrely some times, but fun none the less.
