They make headers, intakes, throttle body spacers, and full exhausts. I would reccomend doing something else with your money than trying to get more power out of the 2.5. It is a good little motor but doesn't have alot of upgrade potenetial. Just use the low gears and you'll still get through the tuff stuff. I've had an 88 4 cyl and it would make it up and over stuff my buddies in 3\4 and 1 ton trucks would get stuck on. I decided I wanted more power looked into turbos, superchargers, exhaust, intake, etc. and decided on a 4.0l 94. I love the power but there is definitely something to be said for putting a beating on the v8's with a four banger.

look into replacing your throttle body for a throttle body off a 4.0L. The one you have now is 60mm and the 4.0L one is 62mm. Doesnt sound like that much difference but that little bit of room allows alot more air through

What gears do you have?
IMO regearing will be better than installing some expensive parts for only 5-10 more HP.

The engine can only use as much air as the pistons can suck in on their intake stroke. This being said changing the throttle body will give a very undramatic increase in power, probably un-noticeable.

honestly, all the add ons are barely noticeable, the best bang for the buck is gears, and even that is limited cuz you most likely already have 4.11 gears and the biggest you can stuff in stock axles is 4.88.

upgrade the driveline.
