New guy in town!!

So as the name says I Finally got one! I'm 28, been waiting until i was 16 years old. Always was told not to get one, this and that, blah blah.

Now I'm on my own and had some extra cash. I search every site on the net for a Jeep and I pulled this. A 95 rio grande verison 2.5 i4.

I believe it has a 3 inch lift.
The front bumper is coming off and needs to be replaced.
The side bars are shot, they're coming off.
Getting new Goodyear Wrangler Duratac's today. 33x12.50x15, the pro comps on there now have tread left but they're dry rotted bad.

145K still running strong. It's kind of loud, I think I have an exhaust somewhere and I will be checking into it.

Now I can't get this bolt to loosen for anything. I used a torx t55 and it won't budge. i put PB blaster around it, under it, but won't move. All the others were fine. Think i might ask the guy putting my tires on today to loosen it for me..

My pockets are open but the wife is trying to glue them shut.

I'm stoked I finally got one and just want these tires on now so I can go have fun.

that particular bolt was the one that broke loose and spun upon air tool removal attempt. had to cut it off with a disc. most times the"nut" is welded to the chassis but that spot had like a a metal strap like and sprung loaded nut welded to it. I broke the weld in attempts to remove it. check for rust in chassis on outboard side of chassis in fuel filter area drivers side rear. and look at behind shackles mount at rear bumper. can really fool you as to how solid the frame may really be. dealing with this now getting ready to do a saf-t-cap replacement with autorustec's "kit"(on fleabay). my YJ is almost identical to yours. enjoy it for what it is, a good way to wheel and deal(AKA spend money)..Driller

Borrowing an impact driver, hopefully it takes care of the torx bolt.

Also got my new tires on last night will post pics shortly.

The guy doing my tires showed me a spot right behind the driver's side back tire where a bolt and washer seem to hold something together, maybe the body to the frame? It was cracked he told me I needed to weld it soon and if it cracked more and broke, my suspension wouldn't fall off.

100 bucks for a 2 inch hairline crack behind the tire sound like a lot?
