New guy needs advice

I just bought a 93 4cyl, 5-speed this week, and its been doin fine so far. I just figured Id ask the experts first before I start tearing into stuff I dont know much about. Im trying to plan out how Im gonna do the mods/upgrades, so I dont end up wasting a bunch of money like I have before. Today I bought a bunch of tune up stuff at autozone, and I just ordered a soundbar and bestop console online as well. Next Im planning on tearing out the carpet and monstalining the whole floorboard and rear cargo area. I have a bikini top for it and a soft top, but I havent seen the soft top yet to know what condition its in, im picking it up tomorrow from the previous owner.

On to my questions:
1- I want to replace the seats with some junkyard specials, this page is very helpful-Link to Wiki page, but I need to figure out which ones sit the lowest cause my head is gonna be pretty close to the soundbar. Does anyone have any info? Im 6'1" and since Im mounting the soundbar to the front I dont wanna hit my head...

2- Has anyone done anything to make the back lighting brighter on the warning light panel behind the steering wheel? (where the turn signals, shift indicator, high beam indicators are...) I can barely see the lights during the day, its pretty annoying.

3- I found a 4.0L motor and ax15 tranny for sale locally for $300 with 180K on em. Is it worth it to buy em just to rebuild and keep incase my engine ever takes a dump on me? That is pretty cheap but I have no idea what condition theyre in....

4- This weekend Im gonna be changing the diff fluid (I got 2qts of Castrol ATF+), the tranny fluid (got 4qts of pennzoil synchromesh), the fuel filter, dist cap and rotor, and the valve cover gasket. I was thinking about doing a catch can setup on the CCV system, but I dont want to mess with all those tiny vacumn hoses goin everywhere. Has anyone done anything with the CCV system, or should I just leave it alone? Is it safe to put some RTV black on the cork valve cover gasket when installing? Is there a cheap, easy way to clean the fuel injectors?

Thanks for the help guys. Ill post a pic too just cause a pic of a YJ makes everything more enjoyable:

hey congrats on the jeep...i noticed you were installing the sound bar over the front deats...they usually mount behind over the rear seats there are alt options for speakers check out jcwhitney for some sound pods or quadratec is an awesome place to shop...wish i could help with the other watch the park brake i had an 87 and a 95 and they both had recalls ond the park brake not staying engaged when its cold out...oh and if you have the money id buy the engine just beacause its another engine to either build on the side for some more power or like you said for parts...good luck and enjoy
