New to Forum -??? on Motor Swap

Recently purchased a 1995 Wrangler Rio Grande knowing I would need to do some work on the motor. It is a 4 cylinder, 2.5L, w/auto trans. and air. Well, the motor was weaker than I thought and has gone out. I have found a 1995 Grand Cherokee with 318 v8, auto - motor, computer and wiring harness for $650. What do you think of a swap with this motor and what else would be involved as far as extra parts, time and labor? I have looked for a 4 cylinder to replace the original and those little suckers are hard to find and expensive as all get out! Any info, advice, help, tutorials or anything would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
