New to the forum, heres my rig

Hey everyone, new to this forum but ive been on JF a while. Figured id introduce myself. This is the second jeep ive owned. Its a 89 yj with a 4 inch RC lift, 31in. adventuro M\T tires, newly rebuilt 4.2 (nuttered with new pre emissions carter carb), crt hei, various parts replaced, ba10/ np231 drive line, optima redtop, track bars removed, 50inch light bar with 4 in light pods, led slim tail lights and led license plate light. Im sure im missing some things but ill remember eventually. All work done by me except the lift which was installed by the PO. Oh, and i made the bumpers too and painted it. Original color was white with a light gray top but the PO decided it would look better with spray can bedliner, which it did not look better at all haha. I sanded and sprayed it with desert tan flat paint.

when i first got it.

a couple months later after painting and fixing some things

Nice jog on the paint. I imagine that old bedliner was a pain to get off. I like the bumpers too. What else do you have planned for it?

Thanks. Yes it was a pain to get off but I eventually got it all. My next project is going to be a SYE kit, Pontiac sunfire seats and possibly a 8.8 rear-end install. I don't really plan on going with bigger tires, if I do I may only go to a 33.

I have the Adventuro A/Ts and think they're really nice for the price. My rear bumper is also pretty similar to the one you built or showed building.

Yeah I think they are really good for the price. I think I've found them on amazon for 130 a piece. I haven't had any issues with them offroad and they are surprisingly very quiet on the road.

I hope to put a Ford 8.8 in my YJ too. There's a place here in North Carolina called East Coast Gears. Maybe you've heard of them. I've been told they build it to your specks and all you have to do then is drop the Dana 35 and bolt the 8.8 up. They're about three hours from me. Some day during the week I'm going to take a road trip and check them out.
