Post Newbie Here

Hey Guys new here from NY. I just got my Jeep on the road. Had a rebuilt title from Vt, what a PITA! I have a white 94 Wrangler 4.0, 5spd with 3.55's. I put a jvc deck in, wired up the sound bar, boston speakers and going to be durabak'ing the interior. I plan on lifting it with the 4in Rough Country, shackles, sway bar disconnects and 32 Duratracs

I do have a few questions though...

1.) I noticed my right rear axle shaft flange is bent would an XJ shaft fit or do I have to use a YJ one?
2.) My interior dome lights dont work, the dimmer switch for the guages work(they go bring and dim), when it goes all the way up they dont come on. I can hear it click but nothing. The bulbs arent burnt and they door push things are connected. My guess its a relay?

Check at the back of the dimmer switch to verify you are getting power from it to the door switch. It's been awhile since I've done mine so I can't remember which contact it is on the dimmer. If you have a chilton repair manual look in section 6 for the wiring diagram it will tell you the wire color code for it. I usually have my book here with me at work always reading it like a novel.lol But its next to the thrown at home..sorry for the visual..ooops

uhhh..... Obvious, but... Have you checked the dome light itself for power? Is the bulb burned out?

Additionally, I've heard mention of a fuse in the glove compartment to isolate the circuit when you have the doors off. Does the YJ have one of them thingies?

Just ideas.

So with the dimmer switch all the way up and the yellow wire plugged in to the door switch, I checked the voltage in the bulb sock and nothing. So my guess its the dimmer switch? My guess there are no relays?
