Newbie Needs Advice

I have a 92 4.0 that everything seems to be in ok condition. I wanna drop a few thousand+ on it and make it as bone stock as possible. Its got almost 200,000 miles on it and actually runs really good. The tranny likes to grind on me a bit, but not to bad. The body is in pretty good cond. too, without too much rust. I just wanna have a nice daily driver and hit up an occassional trail, and will never purchase any newer vehicle. I like my older stuff. I wanna find a good shop somewhere around Lancaster, PA that I can get some good work done for a reasonable price. Any suggestions would be much appreciated... prices, ideas, etc... Ill post some pics later. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum Stridermcperson. If you like older vehicles and have the money to invest in paying someone to do the work for you, I would suggest invensting in a good tool set and do as much of the work as possible yourself. Nothing feels better than acomplishing a build on your own. And if the Jeep should have issues after the rebuild, you will know what goes where and how to fix it. Just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. If you wish to have it built, you may want to post a simular thread in your local region. Good luck and lets see some pics of your YJ.

Jeff

cool man, i would love to do the work by myself but am running a business full time, actually more than full time. I also don't have a 2nd vehicle right now and will have to borrow something while i get work done. I just want to get a shop to do it and get it done in the shortest amount of time. maybe ill buy an old honda to beat around while i work on it. haha
