Noob with new to me 94 4.0L

Just want to introduce my self and the Jeep I just got. Its a 94 dark gray 4.0L soft-top with 150k. Runs well but it was neglected. No dents or rust but the previous owner kept it for duck/bird hunting so it was pretty trashed and left dirty all the time.

It has a Ford 8.8 with disk brake conversion. Rough country 4 lift, 33x12.5/15, Smitty built front and rear bumpers, home made rock sliders and winch. Interior is not much to speak of. No carpet and needs new seat covers. Going to line the interior then change the gray over to all spice

Never had a Jeep before but always wanted one to going wheeling with. So Ill probably ask some dumb questions from time to time as I learn more.

Thx

Yeah didn't happen without pictures, lol. Congratulations on the new rig. You may want to add jeep info in your signature line before the questions start, and there will be questions, just to make it easier for people to answer. Sounds like the po had it set for off road. Good luck with the project.

Lucky, you've already got the basic stuff installed. I've been working on restoring my Jeep as well. It was also severely neglected but that just means its more for me to do.

Update, Jeep is at my buddy’s shop and we are going through the rear axle as it was not set up right by the PO. Installing a Tru Trac diff, new axle shafts, bearings/seals and setting up the back lash. Also resealing the SYE on the transfer case. It was leaking.
