offroading question

I got the 2.5. Also, what kind of obstacles are you able to overcome in regards to mud/water. I'm always worried I won't have enough power. and what kind of inclines can I handle?

Don't confuse engine *power* with *torque*. It's all about putting HP down to the wheels effectively, not about raw power in the engine that constantly tears through the rock or mud. Do some research on 2.5 Jeeps.

Join your local Jeep club. You'll learn more about what your Jeep can do with them on a single trail run than I could ever tell you.

okay, if you have 4 low you have plenty of power to the wheels with the power the engine produces . i wouldnt worry about having enough power with the 2.5 as long as you dont have to large or tires, like 36 inches or larger.

^^^ Agreed... When I had my 4 banger with stock everything, I would tear through some pretty deep mudholes... Prob deeper than i should have been going through, but came out on the other side.

I dont know what your setup is, but if its stock, I'de be more weary of clearence.
