Opinions on eBay fender flares?

My YJ is in need of fender flares as it did not come with one.

I stumbled across this opportunity on eBay but I can't help but feel skeptical due to its price.

I'm wondering if anyone else has purchased these and what your opinions are. Apparently they've sold over 80 however I don't see ANY reviews. I really don't want to have fenders that just flap around in the wind.

I haven't priced ant flares lately but the ebay seller looks legit to me and the flares look just like a set my buddy put on his and they are very nice. If I was in the market and the price was good I would purchase.

The add says 4 pcs and the description says six. I would want clarification. A 4pcs set might only be the front fenders. Also they are 6" wide that is quite a bit more than stock and will definitely change the look of your jeep (I am not a fan of wide flares).

Other than those things, I put a set of 4" pocket flares on the TJ I got rid of and had no issues what so ever. I think they were from eautogrilles but i am sure they are pretty comparable and Ebay does have great buyer protection if they are garbage. I would also recommend a good credit card that will even further insulate you from paying for garbage.
DAMN! These things are expensive.

I have 31" BFGs on 8" wheels with 4" backspacing. My RR 6" flares just cover the tires. I could have 4" flares and not got a ticket in Colorado, but it might be an issue if I drove to a state that required the tires to be covered.

I bought the 6" flares because I live on a gravel road and the wider flares keep the Jeep a bit cleaner.

Good Luck, L.M.

I running the eBay flares with no issues at all. All hardware included and look great. They are six pieces but I only installed the flares without the front fender ends or fake steps.

Go for it! Ebay purchases are protected. If they are not exactly as described they go back at the sellers expense and with a full refund.
