Original Equipment Listing for your Wrangler

I saw people getting these a while back by emailing Jeep, however there is an easier way

(Updated 1/2019)
  1. Equipment-listing
  2. Enter your vin and click search
  3. Wait for it to load your build sheet and print or save PDF

As long as Chrysler made your Jeep it should work (87 may not work)

Pay no attention to *Vehicles built before 1998 are not eligible for this functionality.

It works great but some of the info might be wrong. They had my color, clock and transmission wrong. Everything else was right. Still don't know what an "ITALIA" package is. Anyone know???

everything on mine was correct as well, except for the clock. And it said mine too was an italia package. I haven't found anything on it yet.

Worked on my 95.

Italia package is the Italian model that was used in the TV commercials. Gina Lollobrigida comes to mind.

My 94 worked funny it states 20 gallon fuel tank and 9 extra gallons yet my sending unit is for the 15 gallon tank and I had to do the fuel tank mod to get those extra gallons

It worked on my 91 YJ, except it listed the 20 gal plus 9 gal fuel load; I have a 15 gal sending unit, records indicate the previous owners were filling at 100 mile increments. Also says delivered with Night Eagle and Italia packages. I found no data on these during the 90's, there is a Night Eagle package now but not for then. Owners Manual is the current challenge.

Mine was pretty accurate but had a couple of wierd things. It said my Jeep came with 265/60R 18 tires and then right below it said it came with 15x7 Steel Wheels. Also I think I have a supper rare YJ with POWER RACK AND PINION steering. LOL

For those scratching their heads at this zombie risen thread, the base link to get your equipment has not worked for a while.

Use this instead.

The Italia package refers to the spaghetti under the hood that they used for vacuum lines. LOL

Actually the original link still works, just not in mobile website format for some reason.

A URL redirect is in place, but I will update it to the newer link.

Got the exact weird tire and steering option on my 90. Otherwise on point.

In 1982 bought a brand new CJ5. Price was $7,500. It came with one low back driver seat and a lap belt. If I wanted the others they were a $300 add on.

My "87 was built in April of '86. Obviously one of the first. VIN ends in 504990.

I get the same message that rushwal gets in post #17. My system administrator is Mrs. Lucky. When I asked for her to fix it, she laughed so hard that I laughed too.

Good Luck, L.M.

If you're lucky enough to have the original doors there is a sticker with the MDH.
(Month, Date, Hour).

Mine was built on a Friday by the third shift.

I repainted my Jeep as soon as I bought it. I photodocumented what was left of the stickers in the inside door shell. You can barely make out the 04/11/86.
That was a Friday. Hopefully it was complete before 4:20 in the afternoon.

Good Luck, L.M.

I see you have an AMC label.
I believe the (MDH) label is a Chrysler thing.
Must have started in '88.
It includes the hour built in military time.
The label was placed on the door which seemed crazy to me.
"Hey, this is held on by a single nut. That will never come off let's put the label here."

Thank you. Data plates on my door looks new, doors are original to my rig by Serial Number. Chrysler data plate, dated 6/91, no time stamp. Manufacture records are going to be difficult; Brampton closed in 1992, don't know if records went to new Brampton or Toledo. TY for the help.

The time stamp is hard to spot.
Its (MDH) followed by six numbers.

(MDH 030620) = March 6, 8pm.
(MDH 112109) = November 21, 9am.
(MDH 081023) = August 10, 11pm.

Chrysler has using this code for a long time but, its not good for anything just trivia.
