Painted Fender Flairs

Anybody have thier fender flairs painted the color of thier Jeep or just painted black? Whats your opinion on it, does the paint stick to them? I was worried it would flake off or scratch very easy. If you have this done I would love to see some pics.

Mine are painted the same as my jeep which I prefer. I had them repainted by a guy I know that that does great work. Black looks good IMO if you are changing the fenders to like bushwacker or flares. Stock fenders like mine I prefer the same color. It's just a matter of personal preference.

If you use the Krylon Fusion it works great on the plastic flairs. It's designed for plastic and very easy to work with.

Rustoleum rattle can bed liner looks good and adheres well. Gives them somewhat of a powdercoat / textured look and it's durable.

PlastiDip is also a great way to go.

No need to sand down the fenders first. Just wash like you do when you give your jeep a wash, let dry, wipe with isopropyl alcohol, then spray. Dries flexible so you'll never have chips or cracks and if you ever want to go back to your original flares you just peel it off and no damage has been done : thumb:

Comes on black and white aerosol cans, and red, yellow, white, blue, and black in liquid form.

Look up plasti dip wheels on WF and you'll get an idea of how it works
