Question Plastic Or Aluminum Valve cover

Who is using what? If its aftermarket what kind? I need to change mine and im looking for options.

if your going to change it to change it to the aluminum ones from quadratec. i got mine from there and when i was installing it it cracked =(

That looks like the aluminum valve cover I have. It works good.

What's wrong with your stock valve cover? Not like these engines look like much when you pop the hood anyway, if you want a splash of color why not take yours off, clean it and paint it? That aftermarket one looks like a waste of money to me.

My stock is plastic and it's warped, my oil fill cap is loose and it leaks both at the filler and along the sides. I have a rattle that comes under load from under the valve cover and this is one of my first steps to eliminate it.
