Question on pricing A/C and Acme top/doors

Hey, y'all, got a question on what's a fair price for some parts that I don't need, and don't quite want to store away.

I have a factory A/C setup that is in solid shape (dash unit, hoses, condenser - though I may keep the compressor for OBA conversion).

Secondly, I have the Acme hardtop and doors pictured here. Glass is perfect, shells are great, the struts on the rear window have long since lost their charge, though.

What do you folks think is fair (ballpark) for these items? Thanks in advance!

Ac... without compressor.... not much... maybe $100 if you can find a buyer.... a complete new system is $1000

Top and doors.... i'd say all over the map.... they are an oddity... I happen to like em but not everyone will....
They imho are not easily sold but also not easily bought.... i'd say maybe $500-1000 IF you find the right buyer... downside being that is anything ever breaks, replacement parts don't exist.... even glass would likely have to be custom cut and then tempered so that hurts you...

^Timing is everything, Tops will be coming off for the summer soon, not as much demand, Fall will be better time to sell. A/C stuff will be just coming into demand, but it's one of those things that I personally would buy new for warranty and reliability, pack it up and put it in the rafters for when you change your mind and want it back.

I am looking for a/c right now, but buying a used system is sketchy. I saw a very clean system with nice hoses, compressor looked new, condenser was great, everything there for $300. It would have been a great deal but I couldnt be sure everything worked. I would already be replacing the expansion chamber and Drier, but depending on how long the system had been opened, there could be all kinds of contamination.

I agree with what has been said, maybe $100 is worth taking a chance and having to buy a few parts.

Forgot to mention that I would STRONGLY encourage you to keep it all.... ac and a full top can be really nice and you may not always be as tough and rugged as you are today lol....
That particular top and doors really complement the theme of your jeep too....
IRQ and JonStevens like this.

The doors are for early CJ7's with the paddle latch i think 1976-1979 maybe? You can make them fit later CJ's and YJ's but most people would not want them because they are just plain ugly.

I just helped a friend gut the AC out of his 92 Sahara and he's chucking it in a garbage can.

I'd keep all of it. The a/c will be welcomed during the humid summer that DC has and the top will be warmer in the winter. I'd buy or make a left system for that top. But that's just my 2˘.
