Quick question and a pic or two

I am currently in the process of revamping the interior of my YJ and took on painting the dashboard/instrutment panel earlier this afternoon. After taking off the panels surrounding the instrutment gauges, I was unable to take off the panel surrounding the glove compartment. Is there a special trick to getting this particular section off? I didn't want to break it so I taped off the dash and painted it inside the vehicel. Here are a few pics, I painted the door panels last week:

Thanks for looking,

Dennis

Yeah, I have already painted the panel surrounding the glove compartment. I was just asking if anyone knew of any tricks to get it off easier in the event that I had to take off the full dashboard.
