Exclamation ready to go on custom...need YJ help

I am new to Jeep ownership and have jumped in fast. My commander is my family vehicle, my girl has a liberty and my YJ IS GOING TO BE GONE THROUGH! That is where I hope that this thread will get a start. I AM SITTING ON A GREAT base that is drive able, but, i want it CLEEEEAAAAN! That means new wiring harness and looms, stripped and cleaned engine compartment (so all of these odd things are not hanging out) of course, the engine will be stripped and gone through, including heads, paint, cam and a new carb or throttle body depending on what is recommended and air cleaner set up.
First, new dash...I want metal and have seen some beauties where TJ replacements for the center and Dan Hard heater was added in one custom app. Love it cause it has all the necessary....but, thinking of adding A/C also. Just want a good idea what is the best way since i know stock isn't what I want. But, want to stay with easily replaceable Jeep parts into custom sheet and then a good heat and air system. Jeep will be an allarounder, and I want less noise and gadgets to rattle around. Like the TJ display, just for the main things and besides oil, heat, blinkers, temp, speedo, battery etc, I want some simple dummy lights for my girl...like 4wd being engaged, exterior light rockers and stereo and aux cut outs. So, if you all have a set up, that is more family friendly, but suitable to have top off while mudd gets slung...let me know.
With wanting all new wiring, just throw out who and what you have used that works. I am sure there are a ton of companies, I just don't know them. So put it out. I will be using your experiences to get me through it all and hopefully take you all on this ride. Tell me of your friends near me to use, tell me of your company, tell me who and what to stear clear of. Please don't badmouth, just message me if you know of dangerous people who prey on the less knowledgeable.
Suspension is good, except I want some new adjustable sway bars, but i need to vet some info on what i have, so i know what size and options.
I can post photos and such if anyone will answer questions so I know what I am working with.
Body and paint, top and doors will be done by me for the experience. Probably looking at black denim or Rhino type coating. Again, recommend what you think, but dark and urban assault vehicle while not riding brush, dunes or bogs is the look I am sticking with. Probably black and tan top and seats.
I have heard to use Chrysler minivan seats to save a ton on buckets. I hate the racing seats in it now, so more comfort for back injuries a must. Probably keeping the three points in it
So, there you have my start. The peoples Jeep is my idea. If there is a better lining, for interior, that will minimize noise, but allow for easy cleaning, let me know. I know it is hard to have your cake and eat it to, so my idea is rubberizing and rhino. Seats will be cloth and i know the downfall with cleaning, but i will employ covers when needed, so I do use common sense regularly. I just don't want a bunch of "duh" moments belittling, we want happy folks to keep up the waves on the road . It is a special family, so respect others opinions. It is not a personal attack if i don't use an idea, ultimately, budget and such will drive. Yes, there is a budget, otherwise I would drop it off and pick it up and I want the challenge.
Thanks before we start and I am sure I will speak to many of you a LOT. I am open to barter and trade and I build a lot of custom machine guns and have a lot of Harley parts and such amongst a ton of other stuff if you have parts to get rid of that can be used for me. Just put it out there. I am very easy going...until i can not be...then I am that monster everyone who knows me can come out and bite. No need so no dumping your refurb or bad parts off please.

BOMBER OUT FOR NOW

If I were you I'd just start on the little things and enjoy your jeep during the summer. Save the big stuff for winter

Lots of work ahead of you. I'm slowly doing the same thing. Replacing everything in order of priority, eventually will do an engine swap and at that time strip her down and rebuild clean. Good luck!

I hope you take plenty of photos and post them. Also I would take PLENTY OF PHOTOS JUST FOR YOUR RECORDS in case something happens. With my tear down, I had an unforseen delay of four years before I got back to it AFTER THE STRIP DOWN. All those photos I saved on the computer saved my but many times. Take photos of everything. And if you want to see a "frame up" restoration, look up my thread. Good luck with everything.

Take care
