Rear Lift Gate Support Clip

Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this, but I've been looking for a clip for the rear lift gate struts forever to no avail. I attached a picture to exactly what I mean. It seems you cannot buy the clip, but if someone has one off a bad strut I'd be happy to pay for it and the shipping to get it to me. The struts arent bad I just seem to have lost it when I repainted my hard top.

Thanks!

-Greg

I'm pretty sure you can get a replacement clip at Napa.

I can look tomorrow and see if I still have the old struts off of my rear window. If I do I will send you the clip for free.

By the way, the new struts are about $18 for the pair at Napa.

I didn't think of checking Napa, though I did check the "help" section of advance. If worse comes to worse I'll just buy a new set.. Kind of just the principle of replacing something that technically isn't broke haha. At any rate, if you should happen to find one, I would greatly appreciate your sending me one! I'd rather kick you some money for a beer and your troubles, and perhaps pay your kind act forward one day when I'm in a position to do so than pay Napa for new struts I don't need haha.

They should come with the new push rod/piston. I believe mine did, but (I'm sorry to say) I threw the old ones out, because I had no use for them.
