So I'm about to leave for my trip and went to CHK my compressor and Nada!! No lights on switches, no compressor coming on. I did a little troubleshooting and no 12v at compressor motor..I have 12v at the plug to relay. What to do? I have already committed and paid for this trip. Are there aftermarket(non ARB) to get me by? Fuse is good. How would I know if its the relay? I'm assuming if I have a bad relay, nothing will work, correct?

Option 1. See if you can find a relay similar to replace it if that works bring a couple on trip
Option 2. Go to Georgetown and try to see if Arb or a fellow jeeper has the part. There are a lot of jeeps there and you are not the only one with a compressor. Also I wouldn't miss trip! I thought I read you had a lunchbox in front and Arb in rear. If this is correct you can make it with just the front locked.

Trip? And my recomend action would be to find a similar relay to replace the current one as ironman says.

How often does your compressor run? Well sealed? I don't recall the recommended relay amperage for the ARB. If you can't find a speed shop or offroad shop with the rated relay it's possible to jumper the power. This would be the last resort. If using a jumper use a fused jumper rated for the same as or less than the relay. The compressor will be on/ready throughout the day. Unplug at night to save the battery.

Heads up...I'm a bonehead. When I was running wires to my battery for my CB and 12v aux socket, my ground wire with ring connector somehow snuck down along the battery where I couldn't see it. I was in a frenzy man!! Haha. All is good, compressor working. Thanks guys. On my way to my sisters in Placerville. Yes, Aussie in front, ARB in the rear. Also, my temp gauge was 1 segment below 210 all the way here. So my water pump, thermostat replacement was successful.

Sorry Big Earl, didnt know you wanted to come? Lol. Spent the morning digging through my bro in laws shed of jeep parts. He thought he had a modified spare tire carrier for a 33" but he eventually realized he damaged it on his old yj. But he did score me with some grab handles. So this is how its going to ride this weekend, ratchet strapped to the roll bar along with my dog harness cable for extra security. I know, not the ideal setup but its good for now.
