reseaching lift brands

as it seats now
92yj, 4cyl, 5speed, 4:10 gears
fronts shocks bad, rear spring badly rusted

im looking at 1.5 to 2.5 lift kit
most driving on streets, maybe 5% dirt and 2 tracks
why , i prefer looks , and hope to get a little better ride

PO had 4" lift and 33"" tires (tires not much tread and cracked side walls)
no 16" rims but little 205/16
with this set up 5 gear was bad

im looking at rubicon express ,black diamond lifts
any thoughts on brands ?

Stay away from skyjacker problems over time.

Take a look at old man emu they are expensive but good quality.

I have a 4in old man emu lift kit for my 87 4.2. Leaf springs and all. It was expensive but its way better and lasts longer then anything elce. Other brands like skyjacker are food for the money but seem to start to leak after a wile.

YJ Lift Kits

Just installed the 2.5" OME kit and I am very pleased. Amazing how much beefier the shocks and leafs are. Nice smooth ride. I do not plan on doing any rock crawling...gets me around deer lease just fine. Buy once ... cry once.
