Respond asap

How is the easiest way to drop the steering gear all 4 or just the side 2 bolts only need it down maybe 5 inches

aren't the steering boxes on TJs and Yjs bolted to the frame with three bolts and not four? Or are you talking about something else? The frame has crush sleeves for those bolt holes so it won't deform the frame. thats just an "fyi" incase your relocating the box elsewhere. Also, how else would you drop the steering box/gear other than unbolting those bolts to the frame? I must be thinking of somthing other than what your talking about.

I resorted to the 2.5ft extention and a swivle socket and fixed it but thanks for responding lol
