Right Hand Drive Sahara W/ a Manual?

So I posted this in the general discussion forum but I figured this might be a better target audience.

This guy says he has a right hand drive YJ with a 4.2 and 5 speed

My Daily Driver - RHD Jeep Wrangler by Jeff Bartlett

I figured it had to be imported because it's a Sahara not a base.
Did they even make YJ's in RHD for the european market?

RHD was a US Postal Jeep. There is a forum user with one his user name MAIL CRAWLER. They were built for rural mail delivery putting the driver beside the mail boxes.

And RHD is standard in the UK, India, Japan, New Zealand, most of Asia, South Africa, Australia..

My Uncles first Jeep was Government issued in 1944..
When all Jeeps were Government issued.

The front and rear plates in a couple of the pictures do appear to be (vintage) European. Maybe the UK before incorporation into the EZ?

Yep, RHD Was available to purchase privately in the US. My boss's wife bought a RHD 06 TJ for her route.

Being a sahara, I would bet its from a RHD country originally , though.
