roof/ expedition rack from a TJ

friend has a TJ and he took the rack off and I was going to buy it for my YJ. Has anyone ever installed a TJ rack on a YJ? Not sure of the brand and neither is he it was on there when he bought it but its stout and it flips down toward the rear.
It bolts to the windshield and to the rear frame on the side in front of the bumper.

The YJ & TJ tubs are close enough that I'd go for it. You may have to make some modifications at the windshield frame because I think the TJ and YJs have a different angle to the windshields.
There might be some slight differences to the rear frame but nothing that I think is insurmountable.

Before you handed over the cash, you can sit the rack on top of your YJ to see how it fits at the windshield frame.

Good Luck, L.M.

The Garvin Wilderness rack is the same for both minus the windshield mounts. You can buy just the mounts from Garvin although they are stupid expensive.

I have the rack but the transmission is toast, AX5 needed btw.
The rack is the Daves rack from Olympic that flips into a canopy.
