Royal purple?

Hey guys. It's time for me to change the oil in my 2.5 yj. I was considering running royal purple in it so I figured I would get some input on it first. I know it will be more costly, in just tryin to protect my investment.

I used amsoil and it seems to be working fine. I have 155, 000 on the original engine, so a buddy of mine said i should probably use synthetic. I don't know anything about royal, but amsoil has a pretty good rep.

I have Royal Purple in everything in my 87. motor oil, trans, t-case, rears, power steering. I have nothing but good to say about it. Lasts longer than conventional oil, makes the trans and rears run cooler.

I ran royal purple in my mustang. It had about 450 hp and I ran the gut out of it and it seemed to do great.

As long as it doesn't have an oil leak. I want to put it in mine but with every drop I see $$$. I've jumped on the synthetic band wagon a long time ago but not in the jeep until I get the leak fixed.
