Shackle Lift Questions

I've been planning on doing various lifts on my jeep. I was planning on doing a shackle lift and I wasn't sure which one would be the best for my YJ. I'm looking for like a 1" difference in height. Would that be good for a shackle lift? I heard that really any higher is kinda bad in various ways. What shackle lift kit would be good?

More than .5 shackle lift can adversely affect caster. Some have got away with 1" of lift, others find its a problem. I'd be tempted to go a 1" body lift if that's all you need, add a .5 shackle if you need more. Best would be a small spring lift, but I know life doesn't always allow us to do what we want.

My next modification is to add a 3/4 inch shackle lift. RT Off-Road Heavy Duty Greaseable Shackle Kit for 4 Springs - 52040415KHD-2
I have a 2 inch body that the PO had installed. Do not plan on rock crawling and do not want to tear my toy up. Just a little more clearance. After that I will do a fender flare modification, Have not figured which one I want yet....

Better price at:

I just ordered them for 47.99 and free freight.

I just finished a 3/4 inch shackle lift, using the Crown shackles.
