Simple/cheap fix.......Amazing results

After watching you tube videos last night I decided to tackle repainting the dash today. Took the dash apart and cleaned it really good. I spent about an hour taping it all up. I bought a can of Krylon Premier paint for $5 (dark gray) and went to town. Also painted the plastic panel on the inside of the half doors. Did 3/4 even coats and was blown away with the results.
Even my wife said she was shocked how great it looks 👍
Now I just can’t wait for the LED bulbs to come in so I can replace all the gauge lighting.

Can you give a link to the videos? Do you have pics of your dash? A previous owner painted the inside of the full doors on my 97 TJ. It looks horrible.

Pictures? Pitfalls?
Is there a thread that gives more info/links for the instrument led lighting?. I think that will be my next mod.

I just did a YouTube search and found several videos on replacing the LED lights in the dash. It is extremely easy on a YJ.
I will try and post some pictures tomorrow of the painted dash and doors. The whole process was just a few hours. And most of that was spent waiting between coats of paint
