Looks cool. Did you use ABS pipe? any plans for a sort of filter on the top?

It was just plane jame pvc from home depot, i origonaly was going to do a diff cap with a filter set up, but i found that drain cap at homedepot so i just used that. i did make it tho to where the cap is removable so i can use a filter on the end of it if i want

no when i get my mind set on somthing i get it done. only major thing i have about it, is i couldnt get it to line up perfectly with the window frame. if i had it lined up the door rubbed on it and i wouldnt be able to remove the doors. so i angled it a bit to make it work. so thats what i get for using 3inch pipe. Got my buddy itchen for one, so later in the week were building one for his 99.

Well if and when you do it, make sure you measure over and over and make sure its right where you want it. o and i had to remove my windshield washer res. it was in the way. but a bottle of water and a news paper will do the job

yes i am still running through the stock are box and filter. in dumps in right under the filter in the box, and the 3inch hole i cut out of the side of the box was a perfect cap for the original factory hole. used some pl400 construction adhesive to glue it over the hole.

Well im glad i could inspire you to want to get one and or make one yourself. It really wasnt that hard just getting all the right items. You can get everything one stop at homedepot except i picked up the flex tube and MAF housing that mount it to the box at advance autoparts. i think total time between running to the store and building it and instalation about 4 hours.
