Soft top spare parts

Hi, I just bought a Jeep Wrangler Sahara 94. I need to fix some things on the soft top.
It's an Outland (DOT#138 AS-6M-1), but all the replacements and fix kits I find in the web are for bestops. Is there any real difference??

I have never heard of an Outland personally. Most "fix kits" are only designed for the company that produces them. Specially Bestop. Their kits will only fit their tops.

Maybe you can research Outland and see if they have replacement parts?

'87 YJ, 4.2L built and bored, 8" of lift, 8.8 rear, AX15/NP 231J, Tom Woods drive shafts, Flat fenders, 12,000LB winch, Custom bumpers, Rattle can paint job. Never completed...

I couldn't find anything specific for Outland soft tops on the web... mostly everything is for Bestop. Even the snaps and latches wouldn't work?

Yea I think that back in the day there were tons of companies around that were making things for jeeps but then once the new line of wranglers came out (TJ), they would shift their production to make parts only for that type of wrangler.

So in short there are probably used parts around that would maybe be on eBay or Craigslist, but that's probably not very likely. I'd imagine most people who still have an old top like that which is no longer made would throw it out after a while rather than trying to sell it.

Your best bet is to either find a way to fix the top yourself or to buy a bestop or one that is still made today, (I hear people talking poorly about rugged ridge but I don't really know about their things first hand though).
