Someone school me...

So just picked up my YJ. Came with a hard top on it and steel doors. Included in the sale were half door, soft uppers and a bikini top. Also in the pile were some metal parts and pieces that I think I have identified.

#1 - Half doors. I know that channel on top is for the soft uppers to fit into, but they don't seem to. Are they always super tight?

#2 - Soft uppers. I see they have round corners. I haven't noticed any tags on them, any idea what brand they may be? They don't meet up with my hard top so they aren't in use just yet.

#3 - Channels - From left to right this is what I'm thinking I have. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

• Windshield header, tub sides and tailgate.

So, it's looking like i have all the parts and pieces, save a few, for a soft top. What else would I need besides the top itself?

#1 Yes, they are tight. Tight is good.

#2 I would need to see a picture of the hardtop. I thought rounded corners were what you needed for a hard top (??)

#3 Looks like you have everything except the rear corner rails, top frame and top.

I thought rounded corners were it too. The doors don't fit into the curve of the top, they lay over it too much and leave a very large gap. The rear corner rails bolt to the tub as well correct?

there are 2 different style of rounded top doors, thats why, i'd have to look it up again, but you'd have to make sure you order a soft top that works with those uppers, otherwise you'll end up having to buy new soft uppers as well..

Yes, the corners bolt to the tub. My soft doors have a deffinite corner at the top, not rounded like a hardtop is.
