Sound Bar Thoughts Please!!!

Question,

I am thinking about buying a six speaker sound bar for my 88 YJ, what have been yall experience with them and do they rock?

i have one i got off ebay. its decent. sound is fair. its not gonna knock ur socks off, but u can hear tunes while ur driving with the top off

I find it worthless. Might as well get the regular 6.5" 3 way speakers.. there is your 6 speaker sound bar right there.

My twin sound bar setup sounds much better than my buddies 6 speaker sound bar.

You will never get the bass you want with the slim wrangler sound bars so it's not even worth spending the money. The only way you will get some bass out of it is if you make the sound bar much thicker which will be bad for the rear seat riders since it will be right in their faces.

I made mine an inch thicker and people were bumping their heads in it especially when getting in and out of the jeep.

yeah i have just the 6 1/2" sound wedges, no sound bar, which don't put out much bass, but you really need a sub for good good bass anyway IMO. I love em, I got them empty and just put some nice 3-way speakers, as trip was sayin
