Staying in the family but selling the YJ

Let me start out by saying I LOVE driving my 95 YJ. The problem is that revs if I was a decent mechanic I have absolutely no time to wrench. I don't want to fix my YJ, I just want to drive my YJ. Not a good M.O. For a 22 year old car with 156k on the clock. Every time The car is laid up with some problem or another I literally get upset seeing any other wrangler in the road. I decided to bite the bullet, get rid of my 2012 Honda Ridgeline and get into a 2016 JKU Willys. I've owned it for 36 hours and I am absolutely in love. Now it's time to free up the driveway space, list the YJ for sale, bud adieu to everyone in the YJ forum and introduce myself over at the JK forums.

At least you'll be one of those cool JK owners that simply upgraded... I have lump on my back from my fellow high school/college peers that jeer at my YJ I pay for when their JK is sponsored by mommy and daddy. I enjoy talking to the drivers who upgraded from a CJ or YJ, those guys are cool.

Enjoy your Jeep that is actually reasonable to drive on the street... You'll never forget the feeling of hitting a bump with leaf springs!

I keep looking at the YJ now and thinking I should keep it and have 2...and use the YJ only in the warm weather. I know that's imparactical, especially when I need the driveway space, but bumpy as it is I will be upset to let it go. I really like the Willys JKU, but it actually feels too refined. I like the bouncy, Sherman Tank feel of the YJ.
