I had a 1.5" Superlift on a YJ i had to replace the sagging springs. The quality was visually crap the ends of the leaves were flat not rounded and even though i bought the complete kit one of the springs look like it came out of a different factory than the other 3.

Road like crap the ride was WAY harsher than the factory springs and never did improve. 5+ years later the springs were sagging and the rear leafs started cracking and dropping pieces of leaf springs.

I hate to be a joy kill but they were lower than garbage and not even worth their weight in scrap. This was back in around 2003ish though so quality might have improved but i wouldn't bet on it. The odd thing is though i have the 3.5" superlift on my current YJ i have had since about 1999 and it's been great. But honestly i hated the 1.5" springs so much i wouldn't even feel right selling them to someone.

OUCH! but I ask. They don't look bad but that says nothing shouldn't have jumped so fast but worked for my budget. now if I sell them I'm the bum.

lol, idk im just stressing how much i hated the quality of mine and it ruined me on Superlift. I regretted installing them as soon as i took my first ride in it but I'm used to rough riding jeeps anyways so i just dealt with it. But when leafs started snapping at the center pin hole and falling out as i was driving down the road and i could hear them clanging behind me i was REALLY pissed.

But just out of curiosity i would like to see pictures of the springs. I would like to see if they are cut straight across and not beveled at all. My 3.5" springs look good they are rounded and beveled on the ends. They were stiff when i first got them but they softened up and flex pretty well now and i don't think they have sagged at all. I like my 3.5" superlift springs whoever made them made good quality springs. Not sure why the 1.5" springs sucked so bad.

One of my front 1.5" springs had kind of a half military wrap look going on, the other one did not and it looked weird. I called Superlift to ask them WTF and they told me they had different manufactures making their springs and even if they looked different they would be fine. I really wanted to send the kit back but i kept them because sending leaf springs and shocks back would have been a pain in the ass.

If they looked like mine i would probbaly trust them but quality control fluctuates so much on products it's hard to tell what you will end up with.

These are my 3.5" Superlift springs from around 1999 the ends are rounded off and tapered towards the end and I'm sure that helps them ride better than a end that looks like it was just cut off with a chop saw. I hope Superlift quality has gotten better, i think their springs are supposed to have a lifetime warranty for what it's worth.
