teraflex shackles yj

While in Moab I saw an xj with the teraflex shackles on just wondering if anyone has any insight on these and if they are in fact better then the stock ones

Some folks like them, some don't.. I have never used them.. but folks who have say they can be an issue when going up a hill as they will open up in the front and make things less stable.. Outside of that they do provide some added flex.

don't know if they break...they were made by a company called metal made right about 10 years ago or so.. then I think tera bought them. Most folks say pass on them. Pirate4x4 has a few threads on them.. most say avoid...

I live about 10 minutes from teraflex. Let's just say there's very few people running their shackles and z boxes.

I have a buddy who has had both for about 7-8 years on his soa YJ. He likes them and never had issues with them unloading.
