This rear seat belt crap is driving me nuts!!

92 YJ, Family Roll Bar, and yes I have the retractable side. I just don't have the dual buckle (female) that bolts in to the floor!

Ebay has been a bust and everyone parting out a YJ doesn't seem to have this. Options are pretty limited at this point!

Yeah I get that.. $160 for a replacement pair all day long, but I only need the smaller, less stressed part of the equation.

O'Reilly, AutoZone and others sell very basic lap belts. Are they the same size as the rear dual YJ? If so, buy two cheap sets. Use what you need.

Posting a link as an example. Not sure what size you would need.

Example only. Buy two of what you need.

I haven't tried all, and I'll check after work but... The ones at advanced wouldn't work. The buckle is a different shape/size than what I have on the 3 point retractable size. I didn't realize how different they could all be.

I had the exact same problem. They were abundant for the longer pre-92 setup, but the shorter 92-95 were super difficult to come by without spending a fortune (relative to the condition of the part).

I checked eBay, checked junkyard inventory, emailed part-outs on Craigslist, replied to part-outs on forums, put wanted ads on forums, emailed random Jeep parts websites and emailed seat belt companies to see if they'd sell just the receivers. I pretty much got ignored by most, and those who replied didn't have them or wanted to sell the entire set.

Eventually I found a set on eBay for $46. Not the best condition, but not terrible.

Keep looking buddy, they'll pop-up eventually and you'll probably pay more than you should out of frustration, lol. I feel your pain though!

You can check with Jeepangels.com but it looks like the website is undergoing maintenance. David has a lot of parts and his prices are great. They also have a facebook page so you could message him and see if they have any belts for you.

I feel your pain here!!! I am going thru the exact same thing with the rear seat belts, have the 3 point retractable sides belts but not the twin females that go in the middle of the seat. My question is, are they separate belts or two belts on one metal piece in a Y shape. I only have one hold in the back behind my seat to fasten to.
I will let you know if I have any luck anywhere.

There two belts on one y shaped that bolts to the tub floor. The belts are made and sewn with bracket installed in making of the belts.

Couldn't you just hit the salvage yard and pull a complete set? (Male&female) Doesn't have to be the exact make & model of your jeep. Heck pull a passenger seatbelt from some truck.
